Damage type from Plasma to Normal, granting it purple popping power. ![]() ![]() The Sun Temple is a very powerful tower (albeit not as powerful as its BTD6 counterpart), it requires sacrifices to build up its power.Sun Avatars still lack camo detection without external support or bottom path crosspath, and are still vulnerable against purple bloons.Sun Avatars now shoot three beams instead of one, synergizing heavily with flat damage increases such as Embrittlement and Berserker Brew.Increases the already hypersonic attack speed of the Super Monkeys, changes the damage type from Energy to Plasma, meaning that it can now pop lead bloons, and substantially increases the pierce of the Super Monkey.Increases pierce but changes the damage type from Sharp to Energy, meaning that it's now vulnerable to purple bloons.Overall, due to the high cost of the base tower and its upgrades, the Super Monkey has a weak early-, and mid-game, but a nearly unmatched late-game.Super Monkeys do have buffing options that are sufficiently high Support sacrifices into the Sun Temple and True Sun God.With Dark Knight, Super Monkeys have the unique option to move across the map without Support Chinock with the Darkshift, increasing attack uptime.For a tower with its footprint, it only has a moderate range.The top path noticeably increases pierce at the cost of not damaging purple bloons.Base Super Monkey's Pierce is low, only having 1 pierce.Its damage only starts to increase in its Tier 3 upgrades.The darts that the Super Monkey shoots deal only 1 damage.Its already quick attack speed can be increased with Plasma Blasts.Even as a base tower, Super Monkeys' attack speed is insanely quick.Sun Temple and True Sun God can have support roles however, it's their DPS potential in the late-game is that makes Super Monkeys pretty valuable.Super Monkeys in offense often are the main DPS due to their insane late-game power. ![]()
